Asus motherboard problems

Problem is, I dont have any sound. My Asus A7N8X-X Motherboard has a build-in sound card. I installed the drivers from the asus website, in the config everything reports working, troubleshooter doesnt help. And nothing is muted. Sound is Enabled in the BIOS and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Dont know what else to try.
