Asus Monitors...

The Christmas before last I purchased an Asus 23" LCD because it was such a great deal. I love it! The thing is, Asus hadn't established itself yet in the monitor market. I just did an search for LCD monitors based on "Best Rating", and ASUS had 5 of the top 6! Perhaps is is old news, but I think it's pretty cool that Asus has quickly become the leader in LCDs.

If you have more information than that or perhaps I am mistaken, then let me know.

I like my ASUS ML239H monitors. Yeah I sacrifice tiltability and a VESA mount, and it's got a big chin, but at the time I bought it (and perhaps even now) it is the cheapest way to get a 23" 1080p e-IPS 6-bit w/ A-FRC and LED backlighting. Great for cheap but higher-quality-than-TN Eyefinity.

I've got two Asus monitors....a ProArt PA246Q and a VW266H. The VW266 failed at 2 1/2 years of use, but was still under warranty and was fixed in a week, incl. return shipping.

Overall, quite satisfied with the two I have.

Have had one for 3 years, passed it off to my parents in order to have a matching multi-monitor setup. Still running nice and smooth 🙂

I had a 24" LED (TN) one briefly, worked great, but eventually replaced with a Dell U2312HM (IPS)
