lol...kind of a question/answer in itself. AM2 is amds answer to supporting DDR2 memory. im afraid you'll have to settle for a socket 939 or 754 if you want an amd that supports DDR memory.
The memory controller of the Athlon 64 integrated in the chip. AMD determines support for the memory type. There will NEVER be an AM2 that uses DDR. If you HAVE to use DDR, go to socket 939.
