Asus K8V-X and sata drives??

I upgraded my kids to a newer computer and i'm taking over there old one and setting it up as a Samba file server, but the BIOS will only see the drive as a Raid device instead of a single drive.

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the raid feature, so I can use my single Sata drive?

I changed the sata bootrom to disabled/enabled in the BIOS looked for a jumper on the motherboard itself, read the manual which is very plain with no instruction on how to setup a single sata drive without it wanting it to run in Raid0, Raid1 unless i missed it.

I received the motherboard with CPU as OEM no manuals or cd's I did however download the manual from Asus site.

Am I missing something here? What's the difference if the single drive is RAID or just SATA? Perform any different?
