Nothing is technically compatiable with it, but it should work at 400 right off the bat and won't be the limiting factor in your oc. If your not ocing, theres absolutly no point in getting ram that fast.

I have my ram running at ddr 500 on my nforce3 (250 FSB). But I had to chang the HT multiplier to 3 from 4. You have to make sure you put the ram in the right slots. It is all in the mobo manual. I put mine in slots next to each other to begin with and the computer didn't work. I had to put them in slots 1 and 3.

oh i dint know it does. i just went of the specs and that's what it said. my apologies. but anyway, guys i have a problem with my k8n-e deluxe mobo. i installed everything and everything was fine until this morning. for some reasons my cpu turns on but my monitor doesn't. i tried switching video cards but it wasn't the problem at all. my monitor just won't display anything, as if nothing was plugged. my videocard however has 2 fans (5900 geforce) and it starts spinning everytime i turn my cpu on. but still no display on the monitor. i tried jumping it (CMOS) still didnt' work. any other solutions for this matter?

Ugh. Stop spreading FUD. There are plenty of people running PC3500-PC4000 RAM on this board.

OCZ PC3500 EB is a popular choice, for example.

PQI, most likely not. Check out RAM on anandtech reviews, there is a recent review of DDR 400. Crucial, Corsair, OCZ are the big players in ram. PQI is value ram which is most likely crapola.

On the no video, did you unplug the power, take out the battery, then switch the jumper? Did you take out all but 1 ram stick?
