Asus Intergraded Audio problem!

Hey, Thanks for reading.. I just got a Asus A7N8X new verison motherboard. It has 6ch audio and i cant figure out how to hook up my 5.1 speakers. I went to the vol by windows and chosen 5.1 that doesnt work. Can you help me so i can get it working ? thanks 🙂

Install the nVidia Drivers version 2.45 (or whatever is newest). Use the soundstorm wizard, which lets you setup your jacks and tells you which speakers plug in where.

any by chance know what pci sound card the onboard audio on my AN35N ultra 400 shuttle board(Chipset nf2) compairs too

"Compares?"

There is no PCI version of the nForce chipset's integrated audio if that's what you're asking.

it kinda was, i ment like what card, would it compare at all to any of they popular cards out now?

The Audigy2 is the high-end Creative card, but it's really just a repackaged SB Live! card like the original Audigy was.

I don't know about the normal A7N8X, but my 2.0 Deluxe has the ports hard-wired.
