I wish they would have tested at 2560x1600 to see if the extra 1.5GB came into play.

They could have overclocked them before testing them. Seems like a missed opportunity to me.

Maybe I'm not reading it right, but what's so amazing about it? It looks about dead even with the Gainward, the 3gb memory for the last one doesn't seem to help much anyway.

I see the reference 580 the best bang from all three.

That cooler alone makes it worth it.

Waiting for a good 2 slot aftermarket cooler to be paired with one of these GTX 580's with 3GB so I can SLI, looking into Nvidia Surround, gonna need the extra ram.

Saw the Palit 3GB card, not too impressed.

Doesn't the galaxy 580 come with a artic cooling sink for the same price as a reference 580? If you're in the market for a 580 the galaxy is the only choice imo.

The galaxy PCB is blue and fugly :)

Agreed, but IMO it looks alright in person. Newegg's pics always make it look bad though.

That's actually the 560 SOC, the blue PCB certainly wouldn't stop me from choosing it over something darker.
