Worth it? I am wondering who would actually pay for it.

Don't pay it. You'll regret it every time you look @ your rig. I paid $520.00 for my ATI 9800XT. Course I got right when it came out. Do I regret it. Yes. Have I stopped using it, HELL NO!

I'm quite happy with my $275 X800Pro AGP @ XTPE (bought it open box hence the low price.) Anybody thinking about dropping a grand on a video card should send me some of the stuff they've been smoking...

Yes, I guess it's very expensive. When I bought my AGP xt pe in Octorber, it was only $540.
