I noticed when I had the Xoom that the internal storage was actually called "SDCARD" when you looked at it with a file manager. So it's obvious to me that ti's some kind of hack job.

The best is the little plastic card in the SD Micro slot that says "Remove in future after system update."

I am telling yall, Honeycomb is a hack. It is almost as laggy on a Xoom as it is on my Nook. It lacks phone functions that would indicate it was based on regular Android.

At this point, after lots of playing with it, I consider it to be an expensive tech demo.

It's like on my Incredible where I have 8 GB of internal storage that's basically useless. No apps can be installed on it, they can only be on the SD Card. It looks as though Google doesn't have a solution to use the internal storage properly along with an SD Card so they just tricked the OS into thinking the internal storage IS an SDcard.
Just wondering on how they plan to fix this on the Xoom in an update.

From what I can tell with Ice Cream Google will merge this development branch back with main Android, and use its stable base to clear up the issues Honeycomb has.

That is why I won't touch a Honeycomb tablet. Everyone that buys one is just a beta-tester for the REAL deal of Ice Cream tablets.

1 or 2 HC tablets might be buggy, but I figure by the end of the year when there are 20 or so of them out it won't be much of an issue.

Joanna Stern's blog confirms (a) $400 (+$150) and (b) end of the month.

Lighter than the Xoom, better screen than the Xoom, for less money than the Xoom *even when you throw in a keyboard attachment*!? It's on. And, oh yeah, major Moto fail.

End of the month? Not too bad. I was hoping for middle of the month (which is, err... tomorrow).

Any word on 16 vs. 32 GB pricing? I would love to grab a 32GB + dock for under $600.

Can't wait for this 🙂 I have my card ready and I am slightly torn... do I want to spend the money on sales tax to get it release date orrrr do I want to just wait the 2 days to get it from Amazon since I have prime.

End of April is good enough tho I would prefer a specific date.

Currently using CM7 (honeycomb) final on my nook color installed on the emmc.

SD card is working, did not even realize it was an issue with honey comb.

Currently typing this at work with my NC tethered wirelessly to my Droid x. Take that websense, I will go to ATOT and you can't stop me.

Huh, a commenter claims to have found the leaked SKU on Best Buy's system. Apparently launch is the 30th. Another commenter notes that the tablet and keyboard combo is listed at 500 Euros, and since the tablet is 400 Euros that seems to show a $500 combo price for us. Awesome.

Now let's see how much stock they have.
