Asus Deluxe or Gigabyte UD4

I am currently undecided between Asus P67 Deluxe vs Gigabyte p67 UD4. I know i should have compared the deluxe to ud5.. but as of now i can get the p67 dexule at a discount.. which puts it at only $20 more than the UD4

I have always used Asus and they have been great for me. However, i did notice a lot of P67 PRO owners are having issues with the p67 board (memory timing, cold boot, etc). I am assuming the same type of issues from the pro would be applicable to the Deluxe ?? I ask this because i can't seem to find posts with p67 deluxe issues...

given these conditions .. which of the 2 mobos is the better buy at this point?

I can only speak for myself.
I have an Asus P8P67 Deluxe, and have had zero issues with the board.

As for features, the Deluxe spanks the UD4. But that is perhaps only useful if you will use these features.

ok i got the Deluxe ordered. After all it is what i needed at a pretty decent price. However, i am still slightly concerned as owners on asus forum seem to be having issues..

Btw Wendy, do you mind telling me which bios version you have and what memory frequency you run at? Do you Overclock? Maybe just post your specs

Thank in advance

Well you have to keep in mind, that's why those boards exists. You can't really tell which percentage of owners that represents.
But I guess I'll find out soon enough, also have P8P67 Deluxe incoming.

CPU: 2600K @4.5Ghz
BIOS: 1003 or 1053 (still testing 1053)
Memory: GEIL Ultraline 2133 Mhz @2133Mhz
OS Disc: OCZ RevoDrive X2 240GB (on the 3rd x16 PCIe2 socket) @x4.

So where are the links for ASUS pro probs?

FWIW the new ASUS EFI graphical bios and associated features is so fantastic, that alone makes it better than the Gigabyte. While oclocking results seem to be similar, the Giga bios is same plane jane way old school text based bios.

The ASUS deluxe and 2600K is the best decision I have ever made since getting into this stuff. Did you know you could hook up an SSD drive for booting and a reg drive and have O/S treat them as one?

Esqueeze me? The only manual download I've found is in German, and there's no mention of this anywhere I could find on that Asus siste.... soooo, huh? Details please?
