Check out the ASUS A7A266 over at xbit... Nice and Yummy. Now I can use that cheaper SDRAM, and still have room for update in the future. Plus, its ASUS!!!! I'm still suspicious about the Magik 1 chipset, as Ali has been down for awhile, but I'm still excited. The article says soon, but I wonder how soon. I'm guessing we are going to start seeing alot of cool MB stuff come Mid January. Now, if only the prices can be $150 or less by then.

Use this thread to post your thoughts on what you want to do for your next upgrade. AMD760, Magik1, kt133a... I suppose I'll wait for final revision reviews.

Right now I'm thinking A7A266 (or another board w/ support for DDR and SDR), get SDR memory, and when apps come out that utilize the higher bandwidth get DDR.

I would like a DDR board but I can't wait any longer to put my system together. I will be buying a msi 133A turbo as soon as it's out.

Actually, from what I heard, the IWill ka266 will be shipping in masses before any kt133a. I do believe, however, that the kt133a's will be more refined and stable, and more suitable for an upgrade by early to mid January.
