ASUS CUSL2 petty problems

I have just purchased the CUSL2 M-board and I can say that it is very stable. The only problems I can see that I have is that the system speaker is very muffled now and the keyboard will not shut off even after system shutdown. I previously had the A7V and could not it to run stable, ran games and benchmarked great.....could not browse or listen to winamp though. Can someone please tell me if there is a solution to my challenge on the CUSL2, all will be considered....thanks.😕
 
u mean keyboard light is still on ? thats normal since you can wake the computer by keyboard, there should be a jumper on the top right by the keyboard input plug to disable that feature..
 
Thanks forcesho.....would have checked that to begin with but the manual said its default was disabled so I didn't even bother with it.😱
 
really, i thought the default was enable... i use it since my computer is on the floor, i'm too lazy to reach for the button... i didn't even check it since it's like hidden behind a bunch of stuff by the connector..
