Asus Crosshair V monitoring CPU temp in Linux?

Hi All,

I have an FX-8150 that I'm trying to get temperature monitoring on the CPU so I can monitor what's going on with it. I have a Corsair H100 on it and everytime I get to 5GHz the H100 spins up to max after awhile which tells me I've prolly got temps moving into the 70s. I got lm_sensors installed but I can't seem to get any info. Any help would be appreciated.

You have to run sensors-detect as root to examine your system and write config files.

This was running Fedora 16. Maybe I need to compile the latest and greatest. I did run the sensors-detect already which is why I was asking the group.

Try sudo modprobe coretemp.
