Asus Commando@ ZZF for 234.99 SHIPPED

I think this is a smoking deal considering that it is going for $279.99 @ NewEGG
then you add shipping of 6.94. You pay a 22% premium for buying from who is my favorite e-tailor for computer parts.

I just ordered one along with an e6600 and Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4D Memory.

enjoy guys, this is my first hot deal, I apologize if it is a repost, but I did not see it posted.

what does this have that makes it cost over 200 dollars. I'm not familar with this board. I have a p5b-e, what's some differences. I see it has 2 PCI Express x16 slots.

I think this board is part of the Republic of Gamers series so...

You know how brand names are!

I was wondering if anybody knew what differences this board has than the P5B Deluxe. I need to pick up a new mobo for a core 2 duo but almost all the specs look the same on the two boards.

I've recently bought a laptop DVD burner from ZZF which arrived DOA. Tried to get RMA but they basically ignored me. No response from two online RMA requests and two emails to various ZZF addresses. ZZF basically has NO customer service at all, zilch. They do have good price but I wouldn't recommend buying *anything* from them that may require RMA. This includes motherboard.

If Newegg's price is too high, I would try other vendors like eWiz which has a much better rating on resellerratings than ZZF.

Look at the capacitors on this board vs. P5B all are server grade aluminum electrolytic capacitors means long life at even high temps - very expensive too. Layout is far better too for example mem can actually be taken in/out with a video card in..power/clear cmos/reset switches.

Edit: OP price is cheaper at newegg now - stay away from ZZF thier reseller rating has taken a huge drive these past 5 months

I did cancel my original order, b/c I was having second thoughts on the corsair memory dominator memory.
I did end up placing an order for OCZ-FLEX. 469 prior to rebate. So for 429.. it should work out. I hope I don't have to rma. But I have never had to rma high end memory.

I will probably buy the mobo/cpu from newegg.

Thanks guys.
