Look on the right middle of the page and click on "daily special Asus Commando" it takes you to a link to buy for $211 + free ground.

I almost paid $215 + 12.79, until I saw this. Pretty crappy of eWiz IMO, to allow people to pay the higher amount. If you've already ordered, cancel and reorder or call them to get the deal

Thanks GuitarDaddy,,

I called and canceled my original order and re-ordered it..

BTW, it's backordered... they don't have an ETA yet...

But it's better than the pricegouge that ZZF is trying w/ their $299 ...

BTW, What memory would be good for this mobo ?

I plan to get a e6600 and maybe 2gigs of Crucial ddr800 "D9" memory for $330 ..

Jose

Wow, didn't know it was a preorder:eek: This is my first buy from eWiz, not used to their methods. I would think they should show it as backordered or a preorder, but thats OK I'm in no great hurry and don't mind waiting for a better price.

I'm thinking about the same CPU and memory that you listed, should work well on this board. With the 9x multi on the E6600 we probably don't need memory that will do DDR1000, but I'm getting this as my tweaking toy and want to explore the maximum FSB with a lower multi so I'm definately looking for something that will do DDR1000+:)

thought I got in on this great deal also, but alas, too good to be true. Mine was stuck at "inventory processing". Called them up to find out the reason for the hold up and found out they sold out. They don't have a real time stock system. I cancelled my order since they didn't have an ETA. I ordered from Ajump.com for $249 (free ground but CA tax) and it shipped out the same day. At least I didn't pay the gouge price at ZZF;)

They called me and gave me two choices: cancel or order something else. I canceled.

Just got off the phone w/ ewiz ...

They wizzed all over me. :(

They said their is no ETA on the comando so I have to cancel the order or get a different board..

Bites...............

So any of you guys that didn't get it shipped will probably get wizzed on also..

Anybody else have this mob ???? other than ZZF (don't want to get hosed, wizzing is enough)

Jose

I guess because it's a new board and all the hype, every etailer will try to hose us poor consumers...

Well I can and will wait for decent prices...

It's time to "Stop the Bleeding" .... haha..

In fact "WE" should set our own price around $225 and not buy from anyone selling over this price ..

What do you guys say ?
