Asus bringing ATI to The Matrix

I've seen that cooler design on another of ASUS's GeForce cards before, a 9600GT or 9800GT, I think. Almost made me want to buy that video card to stick in my lanbox, just for that reason alone.

It really does look elegant, and the heat is blown out the PCI bracket which is nice bonus. I think it's a bit more expensive than comparable cards though.

Unfortunately, that's pretty much guaranteed to be overpriced...

That's all I really care about. If Asus are trying to bring this 'Matrix series' to the enthusiast, one would think it only logical to do this for a 4870X2 or a GTX280 as the people who buy those cards are more likely to use the features. However I am glad they brought it to the 4850.

Hmmm, nice, I have no window though, so don't care much about how my videocards look :D
