ASUS A8V

ASUS decided I needed a new BIOS chip (I was getting errors when trying to flash the old chip). This new chip doesn't seem to have half the settings of the old one (Vocal error reporting, SATA drives, etc.) even after I flashed it to the latest BIOS.

Is there any way I can get those old settings back? Do I need ANOTHER new chip?

I need to be able to change my HDD type to at least get into windows; thanks for any replies 🙂
