i Just got a new asus a8v with a 3000+ processor. It took some work to get windows installed on my raptor but i got it done. I had windows running and got all my programs installed i also have the latest bios
(beta 1.0.0.9.6) so i overclocked and got it to 2.5 278 HTT and ran prime 95 overnight. I woke up to my computer not truning on well actually it was still running but the monitor wouldnt come on. Sop i restarted and it wouldnt post. I re-set cmos (took out bios battery) and reset my ram. still no post. I started it up in single channel and it worked. I have 4 sticks of 256 mb kingston hyperX pc3200 all the same that i use in dual channel. It worked perfect on my p4 system but it will not boot for me on my amd 64. Is it just the dual channel mode not working right or is it something with my ram?
please help me :(

does your motherboard include a floppy with SATA drivers on it? you need to press F6 at the beginning of the XP install and tell it to look on the floppy for the SATA drivers
