I have just built 2 A8V delux Rev 2 systems, one wih a 32mb graphics 4x card and one with a Albatron FX5900XTV 8x card
Both are
AMD 64 3500+ (939)
160MB SATA
1 GB DDR 400 Ram
The 1st one all went fine as it was for a server , the second is a nightmare.
Does anyone one have information as to why these A8V boards are having so many issues with the graphic cards. I have read many forums and it seems to be widespread.
I have tried all the suggestions mentioned around the planet but still have not found an answer.
I actually got the system up and running and installed SP2 finally and now the it will not get past the first graphics bios info. Its completely dead now with either the blank screen or the Video bios info.
Asus dont seem to reply to emails on this subject. I also read others saying the same thing.
This isn't just a problem with my graphics card , heaps are doing the same thing.
Clearing the bios seemed to help originally but it doesen't now.
Any help would be appreciated
