Asus A8V CPU voltage

I've pushed my cpu voltage higher and higher still (now at 1.55v in BIOS) but the actual reading of Asus probe still has it @ 1.44v. Is this an error in Asus probe or is my voltage actually that low? If it is that low, how do I correct for it, just keep pushing it up until it moves?

Hmm, now if I push it to 1.575v, it reads accurate. Below that and it stays stuck around 1.44v. Is this a known problem or is my board "special?"

what bios and what chip? Before 109.3 voltage for 90nm chips was not implemented properly, even in 109.3 settings matched what asus probe read but i dont believe that it read properly (either .05 or .1 volts off) 109.4 seems to work better

I'm using the latest official bios, 1008. The chip is a 3200+ Winchester. I don't think it's just a voltage reporting issue, as my temps shoot up 9-10C after pushing the voltage to 1.575v.

Thanks, I'm hoping it corrects the readings on my PSU's rails. The vcore doesn't change even in bios, however.
