Hey guys, I just got a A8N32-SLI and I am deciding wether to setup my raid again or not. In my previous setup using an ePoX board the "NVIDIA RAID" would add time to my bootup because it was checking the health of the raid

I was wondering if that is also the case with this motherboard because this motherboard comes with native raid detection or something because when I went to install winXP it detected my previous raid setup...but i decided not to, but I want to reformat again and was pondering if I should go back to my raid setup.

any input would be great thanks!

the nvidea raid utility will always come on if you have the Nvidea raid enabled. This utility screen lets you access the utility via a keypress. its only on the screen for a short while. I think the performance you gain from the raid 0 outweighs the two second delay during boot up
