Im using my MB onboard audio and when I crank up the reciever that I have my sound going through it hums. When its unplugged from my computer, I can crank it and it doesnt hum at all. I checked the connection a couple of times, wiggled the wire and all. Noise is still there. Any way to get rid of this humming noise? thanks

It sounds like you have either an impedance or a line level mismatch.

Not sure if you can find an adapter or anything to resolve this, but I've never had a need to check this out.

You may want to scan some sites to see if there's something for this.

Its normal static noise coming from the on-board chip. The only way to get rid of it is to buy a sound card.
