ASUS A8N-VM CSM - DVI to component video?

After searching long and hard... I came across a DVI to component video adapter from Monoprice.com:

It states that it works for Nvidia 6600 and 6800 series. I was wondering if there were any other types of DVI-component (or even HDMI) adapters that would work with the DVI output on this motherboard.

I doubt it will work since the DVI on the board is DVI-D and component video is analog.

hmmmm interesting point. It was already stated that on the Asus board it's a dvi-d which means you can't convert to RGB Analog for a monitor output but i didn't think about component being analog aswell
