Do you get any Beeps, fans running etc. ?

Are all your Power connectors plugged in - 24 pin Main, 4 pin by CPU, and 6 pin on your Video Card ?

I'd also plug in a 4 pin (HD type) into the EZ-Plug by the Video Card.

Bad Case - disconnect everything and reset CMOS (Battery removal). Then try with just Video Card and CPU & HD in case something else is pulling it down.

Worst Case - may be bad Component (RMA time).

ok, so I've got all my bits an pieces now, and i need a wee bit o' help... I've got the parts in my Sig, and i know (thanks to people in this thread) that i need to play with my BIOS settings to make my RAM work... I've Read through this thread and there is talk about the settings to put it on, but i got confused very quickly when it got to the technical bits... could someone please like post up some screenies or something, or just write it out in the simplest way possible so i can just put in the right stuff for it please? Thanks,
Firenze!

Put RAM in slots 1 & 3.

On INITIAL boot, try to set most if not all BIOS options you will be using. I'd turn off all Auto-OC'ing options.

In the Video Menu, there should be an option to select Auto/PCI/PCIex for Video output. I'd manually set this to PCIex, otherwise it may try to output to your PCI Video card (which you don't have) and you'll get no Video - I had this happen to me once and luckily was able to recover.

I think you mis-read me, or quoted the wrong post. I'm asking what settings i need to input, because it seems the Mobo will not Auto set-up this RAM... I just need the exact settings to put in on all the RAM settings in the BIOS, because the timings are confusing, being that the BIOS has like 10 settings on the timing bit, but i have only ever seen timings written in blocks of 4 (ie 2.2.2.3 with 2t) etc.... Thanks for trying to help though!

If your Memory is 2-2-2-5 - didn't see it:

Memory Timing 1T
CAS 2
RAS to CAS 2
Row Precharge (trp) 2
tRAS - I'll have to look at this later, I don't remember exactly which it is. ASUS is calling it something different.

Okay, the tRAS is listed different in the Manual, BIOS still lists it as tRAS. This should be set to 5 in the above example.

ok, i'm still a wee bit confused... what about all the cycle timings and stuff, i mean you've given me about 5 of the settings, but there are still several more to do... will they be ok on whatever or what?

ok i've put in this so far:
mem timing - 1T
CAS 2
RAS to CAS 3
Row Precharge 3
TRAS 6

but i still have
Row cycle time - TRC
Row Refresh cycle time - TRFC
Read-to-Write Time - Trwt
Write Recovery Time - TWR

and i have no idea what to put in these last 4!
