ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe won't post~

I just finished builiding my system with these specs:

Ultra-X Connect 500W PSU
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe
AMD 64 3500+ Winchester/XP-120
Corsair 1GB(512*2) XL 2-2-2-5 RAM
2*160GB Seagate Barracudas NCQ
Lite-On 16X Dual Drive
Lite-On CDR-W Drive

I used my old Radeon 32MB PCI video card because I haven't bought the PCI-E video card yet and there was no signal at all. When I turn computer on it turns on normally (all of the fans go active, led become active) but there is no signal to my monitor and there are no beeps that I can hear. Its like the monitor is in stand-by mode and it won't come on.

Does anyone have any suggestion what the problem could be. By the way I use 20 to 24pin adapter since the PSU came with 20pin.

plug in ur speakers in the back of ur computer. it should tell u wat errors u have.

I got a DOA a8n-sli mobo. Called asus tech sup. they had me take the mobo out of the case (maybe a short).
All I had plugged in was the processor and my speakers in the green audio jack with no memory or video.

Then I clear'd the cmos jumper for 20 seconds w/ the battery out. Then power up the system, if you don't get any voice info then either your cpu or mobo is dead.

In my case I tested my cpu in my brother's system and it posted fine, so I have a DOA pos that ZZF won't refund. F*#K ....
I'm giving up for the next 2 weeks, to first fight w/ ZZF thru my CC and wait for maybe the A8N-E to be released.

Too much stress right now..

hey i bought my board from zzf too... i think they are giving out bad boards? anyways i bought mine in january and i couldnt return it to zzf (i just put my system together a few days ago and it didnt work). as of right now its at asus tech in kentucky and ill be waiting 10 days for my rma board.

blustori, What rev. was your board ? mine is 1.02 .

Maybe ZZF is selling old problem boards... Can you believe I had a Chaintech "in my hand" and rma'd it just to get the A8N-SLI ........

There should be a sticker on the mobo that says it... maybe somewhere near the SATA ports if I recall

too late. i kno where it is now but my board is gone. 12 more days till i see my board... ill update when i get my board back.

I bought my mobo in either late DEC or early JAN from ZZF. No issues with it other than the crap mobo chipset fan.
