1.02 (A02) doesn't support 1gh Hypertransport. A03 is shipping to manufacturers and will resolve the problem.

I'm a little confused... by 1.02 or 1.03 we're talking about BIOS versions right?

So even if someone still shipped you an older 1.02 mobo, you could just flash to 1.03 BIOS, correct? I suppose it would be a good idea to get a floppy ready with that before the thing arrives?

But that was way back in October. How do you know what version of the silicon you have? I guess the question is, can early a8n-sli adopters achieve 5x HT on their boards.

I removed my hsf off the chipset when I received my board back in early December. I have the A03 silicon. Do your homework before you post incorrect info like that. My board is a rev 1.02, just like everyone elses. Yes, I am running 5x ht on my board. No issues whatsoever.

I have heard bad things about TigerDirect, but don't have any personal experience... good luck.

By the way... I'm looking for one of these boards.... I can't find any in stock in the UK. I don't want to trawl through all the shipping charges (although I have been doing), and I'm not going to pay more than $300 total hopefully for one. Does anyone know of anywhere with decent shipping rates abroad? The timescale of shipping is not a problem, as long as it's not more than a fortnight or so.

I was just joking, I know what a fortnight is, it's just that I never hear people around here use the word.

Just wanted to let everyone know I called chumbo today since they orginally told me the 4th, She said the warehouse pushed them back to the 14th. I feel a tad bad for cancelling but zzf is 2$ cheaper and shipping. Now to see if it was really in stock.

I'm also pissed at ZZF. They were about to make me a first-time customer (free 2 day shipping was also sweet), but then their website went down last night for maintenance (or something... I presume maintenance) and now today the price is jacked up. They must have got 100 orders at $199.99 though...

Anyone who's ordered from Pixel before... fast shipping? Good service?

Why do all these places drop the price and then jack it back up again? It just doesn't seem right.

lets hope by the end of this month, the prices on this board will be at msrp across the board.

hopefully by the time i build my rig, i could look at what the playing field has to offer (ie dfi, msi, gigabyte) and if i do indeed go the asus route, that i would be getting it at ~180.
