actually if you order from pixielusa they're 238.00 now and they had them instock. i ordered mine yesterday and its already shipped and on its way. not sure if they still have anymore. they're very friendly people on the phone. make sure you ask for jade

Even though the total was $227.70; $200.85 for the board, $10.28 for Shipping, and $16.57 for California State sales tax, they say it will be shipped today or tommorrow.

I called them as well. They said my order would go out today!!! Just like you $227.97 (my shipping was $10.55 to Simi Valley) to my door.

Should be here by Monday!

I've lurked long enough, I can't stand it anymore.

Newegg: $259
Ewiz: now $236

Please, don't buy from the retailers who mark up these boards. At first I was mad at the retailers for marking the boards up. But it's just business to them.

I thought for sure that once Newegg would get them in that the prices would be msrp. I was wrong. Newegg has them posted for $259!? I just send a letter to newegg and pointed to ewiz about pricing them closer to msrp, but as soon as I hit send I saw that ewiz raised their prices, too.

Why mark these up? Because they can. It's business. Why sell for msrp when you can make 100-200% profit? Good for them, I guess.

I'm waiting.

/sorry if my first post sounds like a flame or troll. I'm just bummed that my conscience is making me wait for prices to drop.

Can't tell you the name of the guy....the phone number was the one listed in there "about us" link at the bottom of the home page. 408-934-2500

*NOTE* They don't take orders over the phone but the guy was very helpful about stock on hand.

P.S. The first order had a problem - One credit card number - a 2nd credit card's security number - and was cancelled by the system. The second order went through - I still haven't checked to see if the board is in transit. They called me to try to correct the first order ( I missed the call while out shopping ). Emailed me about the first order, and called me after the second order was posted, about the duplicate orders in the system. We chated pleasantly, they verified the second order was being filled tonight, and assured me that the first order was cancelled.

Sounds like you had a bad experience - I had a good one.

Ewiz's website says they send out tracking numbers, by email, at 6:30 p.m. the day the item is shipped. They're in Silicon Valley, so your message, and hopefully mine, will go out in about a hour and a half.

For those of you in the Eastern Time zone, that's going to be 9:30 p.m., your time.
