I just updated my bios today to 1003 off the asus site did it exactly as it said on the site and now my computer willl not work. My system will boot up and nothing will show up on the screen (monitor remains in sleep mode) and I get no beeps from the motherboard. When I pulled out the RAM and start up the computer the systems tells me that RAM failed. But when I pull out my graphics card the motherboard does nothing. I tried clearing the CMOS and restarting, my monitor comes on for like three seconds then goes back to sleep mode (before it would just remain in sleep mode). My system specs include corsair pc3200 value ram, 74GB raptor, 3200+ AMD64, and my graphics card is a old pci card (geforce 2 mx 400) until my new card comes in. I have no idea what to do... I can not even get to a bios screen.

usually when i get no visual in the monitor i hear a 2 second beep followed by 2 quick beeps, but yours is not doing any beeping, so this may be something different.

It worked just fine before the BIOS flash. The computer then rebooted after the BIOS flash to a blank screen. Also the computer makes no beeps when it starts. I have no idea what to do...

The board probably is working, with the exception the the graphic ports. The new 1003 final bios did some voltage tweaks with the motherboard, seems not for the good. This may explain why Asus pulled 1003 from the server. Do you have a pci video card handy? If you do, install it and flash back to the 1002 shipping bios.

"Shut down and disconnect power. Clear CMOS and then remove your video card. Re-connect power and boot without your video card. Now shut down again and re-boot with the card back in"

I did that and my computer worked just fine
