I forgot what people where saying around in the past when these boards came out, but how does the Asus A8N-E seem to be holding up?

I've been using one in a gaming PC for about 6 months now (X2 4200+, 2GB, 7900GT) and it's been 100% stable at stock speed. No idea about overclocking since I'm too lazy.

Check newegg.com's user ratings and reviews, but take the negative ones with a grain of salt, some people should just not try to build their own PCs :)

Cool, cause in my GameRig I did the SLI thing, and now I'm thinking to just ditch SLI and stick with a single card, and I was considering this board, over my Abit, but I have to admit I've been an Abit Fan boy all my life.

I might just have to go with what I know a Abit KN8 Ultra:
