Hi all, I recently bought a new system built around an Asus A8N-E motherboard and Venice 3200+ CPU. I'm now trying to overclock the system, but I've run into some issues, which I'm wondering if anyone else has run into.

here's my setup:
A8N-E (1005 bios)
Venice 3200+ CPu
2X512 RAM (Crucial + Ultra Value ram)
Enermax Noisetaker 425W 24Pin PSU
Overclock: CPU 270 (HTT) x 10 @ 1.45V, Mem 180Mhz, Cas 2.5, 2.6V, 2/3 (266mhz) divider
- i've tested for 2-3 hours in Prime95 at these setting

here's the issue(s)
- System will not post if I set my memory to run at Cas 3, but it does beep once every two seconds or so. I believe it's trying to tell me there's a memory error.
- I get random freezes, in normal windows activity that require a reboot, this happens every so often but generally not daily.

If I could lower my memory timings, I think this could help me with my stability problems. I'd apperciate any advice on what I can do to improve the situation. I realize I'm running two mismatched memory sticks, so maybe that's the issue. That aside, has anyone been able to use this mobo at CAS 3?

Have you tried running each stick of memory alone? Have you memtested each individual stick of RAM?
