ASUS A7V8X-X latest firmware(1010) and Samsung DDR

Latest BIOS version for Asus A7V8X-X has a patch for Samsung M368L6423 / M368L3223 DRAM, 512 MB DDR-RAM PC-400. Anyone knows what it is the patch for? Can you have two sticks of PC400 now ?

Wow - just searched up this thread for my mobo and it answers something I found out the hard way last October, when I got it! I had the Samsun ram to start with and was plagued by BSOD and tried all sorts of reformat/CMOS reset/mtest86 (passes BTW) etc until I (finally) changed the RAM for Crucial and then all was well again. This is obviously likely to be it.... although my Samsung RAM was not PC400....

Anyway, solves a riddle from the past for me, just wish they had the patch out last October.... well actually no, with my luck would have crashed on the BIOS flash or something.
