ASUS A7V333 KT333 board Pic + Specs

It better overclock well because I'd never take it over a KT266A board unless it would hit 333fsb and then I mite consider it.
 
when are they gonna start putting 64bit/66mhz pci slots on the desktop boards ??
how long do you think they will wait after releasing the kt333 before they release the kt333a ???

the reason it isnt "offically 333mhz fsb supporting" is that AMD HASNT RELEASED A 166mhz chip...cant support something before the actual to stores retail version of it is there to test

look at the KT133 it didn't hit much above 110 if I remember right, and didn't support 133mhz fsb! AMD then decided to up the FSB, so Via released the KT133A which worked perfectly fine at 133mhz fsb..

I wouldn't be surprised if the KT333 does the same thing (asynchronous memory to the FSB).

If i remember correct, VIA released the KT133A chipset before AMD had released the CPUs. I bought a KT133A board the first week they were out and ran an Athlon unlocked at 147mhz bus. It took AMD sometime to get the chips out for some reason.

I want a new motherboard. This 333 is probably gonna cost a hundred and eighty four thousand dollars though. The A7V266-e is still too expensive. :|

Oh yeah .... so this COP bidness, does this read the internal diode on the XP's? This is what I want... what we all want no doubt.
 
Another opinion to wait for the inevitable KT333A.
I don't think COP provides more accurate (diode) temps, I think it justs shuts down the computer, but I don't know for sure.
 
Let me just say that KT333A is going to happen, but not because of problems or issues. KT333A is going to happen because Intel will then standardize AGP8X, and that VIA has the new V-Link2 to implement, KT333's release won't catch those two features so that's why they'll have a KT333A. Of course it's inevitable, new technologies come out everyday, nothing we can do to slow it down.
