asus a7v266-e or EPoX 8KHA+

Personally, motherboard PERFORMANCE is not a big deal to me. Although sites have benchmarked mobos, I believe you can't even tell the difference in "real world applications", or games.

Therefore, I would probably look at the functions of each board, and pick one that will do you the most good.

On that note, I got myself the Soyo Dragon+ cuz it just ownz in the amount of features that come with the board. Check it out. 🙂

those are completely different boards, the asus is a feature packed high performing board, while the epox is a super overclocking bare board. I have the asus, love it.

The epox is way better overclocker, and cheaper, and its got a lot less design issues (for some reason Asus really f'ed this board up) either way get a kt333 board, the Asus is a a7v333, and the epox is the 8k3a

I`m using the Epox 8KHA+ so can only give you my input on that board, anyway it`s rock stable and I would have to say one of the best boards I`ve owned,if the specs and price are right for you buy it 🙂.

what design flaws are there? the layout is great, it won't fit a few massive hsfs, but the rest is great.

I'd be interested to hear how Asus f'ed this one up! I own one and absolutely love it. I'm also running one 24/7 at work. No problems. I would (and have) recommend this board to anyone looking for stability. However, if your looking for big overclocking, there are others that will better suit your needs. Good luck.
