i have this board and it doesn't boot up at all! everything (cpu,video,ram) is installed properly. i press the power button, the power led flashes for a second, and boom, nothing happens... however, the led inside the board remains on. no fans or anything are going while this is going on. help me!
 
its kinda funny, cuz if i stick the power suppy half way into the atx power slot on the mobo, the power supply runs, but nothing else does, another thing i saw was that the cpu heated up, yet nothing happens... hmmmmm, puzzling indeed.

what do u mean by boom ??? an explosion?? please clarify.
 
Check the power switch on the power supply(outside of case portion) and check the AC/DC current setting there also(it should be 115 and is ususlly a little red back and forth switch)
