Sounds like the system I just built. Had to put a 800MHz in it to get it to post. Might try using the jumper to set the cpu up. After you get it to post, set in bios and turn jumpers off. Just an idea.

ube,

Do you know for a fact that the PS is good?

If it is, then the only thing I would suggest is to verify your Power connections to all peripherals. The last time this happened to me, I bent one of the four prongs on the power conenction for my floppy. This was causing the entire system not to get any power.

If every connection is correct, then unplug everything except for the video card, CPU, RAM and monitor. Start the system and plug the pieces back in one by one until you figure out which one is causing problems.

Good luck!

Make sure the fan from the cpu is properly plugged in....and of course the atx connector to the mobo..if so unplug it and take it out of the cases ...the board be installed properly and shorting out..try plugging the cpu and ps to mobo outside the cases..see if it at least powers up...if not could be a bad mobo...if the fans run and no post this could be a bad cpu..

Restart very barebones one step at a time...ps and cpu/fans and try the board
