Asus A7V with tbird 750 not booting

this is all i have connected:

1-128mb mushikin hperf ram pc133 rev 1.5
1- tbird 750 + chrome orb
1-inno 3d geforce mx

won't post. won't give any kind of video signal. fans turn on, mobo light turns on, led's seem to be working, but no vid out. it is in correctly.

Have you checked that nothing is shorting out the motherboard?

the mobo can't possible ground out because of the way the case is made, the mobo screwes into these blue square plastic peices, and the plastic peices latch onto the case. the bios jumper is correctly set (still in factory settings) i went over all the jumper settings already.

forgot to mention that i know that the video card is indeed working, as is the ram. i have nothing else to test out the chip on, but i would assume that it is working.

does your system give any beeps at start?
eg 1 long followed by 3 short beeps
or some other?
