I was wondering what the top speed i can put in this motherboard is. I have seen 1.0Ghz (from AMD's website) and "1.0Ghz and above" on the comparison of this motherboard and the A7V133 on www.anandtech.com's site. Any ideas?

thanx

I believe that the top multiplier is 12.5. So, 1250MHz running at 100MHz (ie. 12.5 X 100 = 1250). Keep in mind that guys running their processors at much high frequencies by adjusting fsb, too.

I am using a 110 MHz FSB with my Duron 600 and an 8.0 X mulitiplier (880 MHz).
Pretty stable, no probs or overheating.

you could go for 12.5 X 110 = 1375 MHz, but that would depend on your CPU.

All KT133 boards have a max multiplier of 12.5X, so do KT133A, but it can do 133FSB, so it could handle up to 1.66Ghz.
