asus a7v and duron 800

as much as i try, i can not get it to post. i put it in jumper free and then assign everything on it... its rev 1.02 after several tries it will say ur bus is not configured correctly. I PUT IT ON 100/33 ! it has worked for 2 years before and my friend just gave it back (said he changed psu and it wouldnt work) i even took out the proc and erased the L1 bridges i connected. any suggestions at all or a jumper i might not have set right? thanx..

Try changing to jumper mode, set the switches manually, and see what happens. Sometimes the A7V will do wierd stuff and switching from jumper-free to jumpered (or visa versa) will set it straight. Have you flashed the latest BIOS (version 1011Final)?

What I meant was what BIOS are you using right now? Make sure the jumpers are set correctly (see the link below). The A7V manual is horrible and contains mistakes.
