The ASUSTek A7N8X-LA supports both 266/333fsb. Depending on the release date of your board it may even take the new AMD Athlon XP 3200, 400fsb. The newer series is based on the PCB 2.0 bios. If you look next to the model no. on the board this is where the PCB is printed. The older A7N8X series is based on PCB1.06 or higher. These can be upgraded to take 400fsb by downloading the new bios version from the ASUS homepage.
I muust specify that if you deide to upgrade your bios, CHECK BIOS VERSION BEFORE FLASHING. Also check with HP on the bios they used. Some Asus boards released to HP run only on bios direct from HP. I have a A7N8X-LA, AMD Athlon XP 2600+(2.08Ghz,333fsb) and my motherboard supports 400fsb right out of the box!
