I am running a 1.4 Ghz Athlon on the Asus A7M266 board wityh Win XP Professional. Since this board uses the AMD-761 chipset and VIA VT82C686B south bridge chipset, where do I get updated drivers? Will the 4 in 1 VIA drivers work okay? The reason why I as is because, the board came with "VIA 3 in 1" drivers.

Should be okay with WinXP default drivers actually... but the drivers are "AMD AGP driver" and "VIA IDE Driver" - already included in WinXP.

I am getting ready to load XP Pro on my system (a7m266) also and have done some research on this process. In a nutshell, you shouldn't have to load the 4-in-1's at all. There is some varying thoughts on whether you might need the AGP mini-port driver, but I wouldn't do anything until after you run some benchmarks. That way you can see if performance is lacking or not.

go to Asus's website, drivers section, look up your board, problem solved. Quite easy, no?
