Asus A7M266 CPU options

Ok, I tried to locate this information on my own using Asus website and google and whatnot but I am unable to find anything other than "supports Athlon 1.4+".

My question: does anyone know what options I have when it comes to CPUs that are supported by the A7M266? I currently have a 1.4GHz TB installed but I am thinking about upgrading, though I have no clue how "high" I can go. Any feedback is appreciated.

Have you installed the latest bios? Then see what multipliers you get. It should at least support the 266mhz XP's but not the 333mhz ones. The 1006 bios says added support for 2100XP. The fastest that uses the 266mhz bus is the 2400xp which has a clock speed of 2ghz. If the 1007 version has a 15x multiplier you should be able to run it 15x133.

Thanks for the feedback, as always, shortly after posting this question, I found the information, lol.
It seems to support up to at least XP 2100. As far as I can tell from the tests performed on this very website it does not really pay off to uprade to a XP2100. I will stay with my 1.4GHz TB for now and swap the complete motherboard at some later point in time.
