Newbie question. Can these Pocket PCs open up Acrobat files and you can surf the web with them?

Whenever it's dead it does ;).

My maestro only does about 4-6 hours. I'd take a guaranteed 8 hours gladly. It'd last me though a work day then

I recently got my wife a SonicBlue Diamond Mako and I think the battery for it is supposed to last a week or so. Used it for a couple of hours and the charge went from 100 to 95%

Even has a built in keyboard

Grayscale devices are more efficent. I'm a big fan of the pocketpc platform, it doesn't have the software available like the palmos does, but it's close and they can do damn near anything

I just bought an E740 and I have a wireless link on my home router.

For regular PDA items, I like the Palm plastform better. I used Palm OS PDAs for 6 + years, so I'm giving the Pocket PC a chance right now.

Pocket PC can do more. I don't see the full advantage yet, but maybe it'll grow on me.

I feel pretty much the same way. My Visor had everyone I know in my address book, with my maestro, there's not a single person. It just seemed easier with the visor. (part of it is me being lazy though ;)).

I like my maestro though. I'll probably upgrade to a wireless network (especially if I buy a thinkpad with a built in antenna) which will be nice with the maestro, as I'll be able to surf with it.
