I have an asus 6870 and was wondering who else has this card,i am wondering would your temps are under load?

Im not sure. I have a asus smart doctor program that came with the card. The software says it was at 58°c after gaming for about 8 to 9 hours, but idle it is at 39°c

I have an xfx 6870, I need to take the side off and point a desk fan at it to get it as low as 58. I think 58 is cold.
 
Those are great temps. I have the same card, it gets to 80C after gaming for a bit and idles at like 45
 
That looks fine to me.Have u enabled the smart cooling option in the smart doctor yet?

mine was getting to high 60°c when I had my sound card in, the pci-e slot on,my board is right above the gpu and almost touching it, I took the sound card out and went with on board sound.

If u want a cooler card they yes
 
one of mine mine hist 98C under load and bounced off the thermal limit at times, its not an asus its a visiontek i think, i also have a XFX dual fan one that never gets over 60
