Asus 520gu vs 500g Premium

So I'm looking to get a router for my apartment. After looking through the forum I was leaning towards the Asus 520gu. However looking around I also found the Asus 500g Premium V2.

I was curious as to what the difference was between the two as they seem pretty similar although the 500g is more expensive. I believe the 520gu only has one USB port while the 500g has two. They both can flash to DD-WRT which is what I was planning on doing. But other than that I'm not sure.

Anybody know if one is better or worse or what the difference is?

Thanks in advance.

i'm in the same boat....

Hesitating between Asus 520gu, Buffalo WHR-G125....or pay a bit more for a DLink DIR 625 (allthough i guess the DLink DIR 615 is more in the league of the Buffalo and Asus).
I am also wondering if should get the EDIMAX EW-7318USG wireless usb adapter...i heard they run hot and i need it for all day long usage.

I'll be honest, I don't see much of a difference between the two other than USB ports. For the price difference, I would think it'd be a significant difference, like gigabit ethernet or something like that? I know the 520GU works just fine, I have two of them and it's now what I'm giving out for routers to my home customers (I used to give out the buffalo router but thanks to the lawsuit, those are at a premium now)
