I am split between getting the ASUS EAH4870 DK/HTDI/1GD5 vs the ASUS EAH4870 DK TOP/HTDI/512MD5. Anyone have any insight as to which is more worthwhile; the extra 512MB RAM or the near 10% overclock? I play mostly MMORPGS, like Everquest II and Age of Conan, and rare play shooters. I know the 1GB reference card Anandtech tested performed very nicely on AoC, but I haven't been able to find a single review anywhere on the net of the 512MB TOP card.

Thanks for any input.

Since they are the same price, why not just get the 1GIG card ?

1GB VRAM is definitely more worthwhile than a 10%OC. If anything, you could just OC the 1GB card too. No amount of raw processing speed will keep a card from dipping into extremely low framerates when it runs out of framebuffer.

Good point. I should have included that in the original post. I'll be buying a new monitor when I buy the card, so it will be either 1680x1050 or 1920x1200...but most likely the former.
