I got one of these last Black Friday for $99 and actually use it quite a lot. Add a mouse and it is a very productive little laptop. I use it just for business stuff and deliberately avoid installing stuff on it-even antivirus (I only go to four or five trusted websites). Main drawbacks: (1) 32 GB non-upgradeable hard drive is a huge limitation and (2) proprietary power supply plug-that apparently Asus is out of stock of. Positives: feather light weight, usable keyboard and insanely good battery life.

BTW if you look around on FW or SD you will find all kinds of posts of people buying these this week and last at Staples for $12.xx-$30, using various coupons. I imagine mot of those are long gone now.

I wouldn't pay $149 for it, is fine at the $99 I paid, the current Staples deal is fantastic if you can find one.

Huh, didn't realize that they'd downgraded it to an Atom.
Used to buy X202Es for not much more.
