i solved my heat problem, juggernaut has just released another hacked 1003 bios that has the 1005a ultra 100 bios in it. i flashed with it and enabled PCI master read caching and now have idle temps of 96 and my soundcard works fine

The BIOS virus-protection shouldn't be a problem unless you intend to install some kind of Linux/Unix-system.
RedHat 7.0 or Debian/Storm 2000 won't be able to get access to the MBA-record. But if you don't install Linux/Unix or maybe BeOS or a cracked version of Win2000, you won't have any trouble.

1005A automatically switched to optimal even though I choose default and still have instability in games at default speed, anyone else?
