i can honestly say its NOT processed, filtered urine. at least not like they are talking about. ground water is from the ground, all waste water is filtered, processed and put back into the ground. thats about as close as it comes. the natural filtration after we process it pretty much guarantees it isnt "processed urine" when it comes up that well again.



all that said, id probably drink it, after all it is processed and filtered.

It was funny to see the astronauts face when they were drinking it.

Even though it's chemically H20, they still winced.

BTW, isn't most Chicago tap water treated from waste?...

Chicago sits beside Lake Superior (?), so my guess would be that they treat their shit, then dump the partly treated stuff back into the lake, then get more from the same place.

If you get groundwater, then they may skip the dilution step, and just filter the shit water directly back into drinkable stuff.

Lake Michigan, and it's the best tap water I've ever had. I never have to filter it, delicious from the tap.
