What I would do? Spend time learning things until I know so much I can do something awesome.

I would continue to work, but at a fraction of the amount I do now.
Invest in more properties, but higher end, and take the time to maintain and enjoy them.
Fish. Travel and fish. Tour every state and province in North America in a motorvehicle.
See a hockey game at each arena. While traveling tour as many brewerys as possible.
 
I'd buy Anandtech, make them make me a moderator account, and then randomly edit other people's posts for fun. Hilarity would ensue!
 
Since the economy is about to crash, I would spend all 10 million dollars on some isolated land, rice, beans, ammo, and sand bags. I would probably shoot myself after eating only beans and rice for a month.
 
$10 Million would allow me to fully retire and live in relative comfort. Probably not the lap of luxury...but comfortable.

I was just perusing the forum, you know, just cruising when I saw this $10 million dollar thread. I said to myself, "Myself, I'll bet RossMAN is in that thread."

Considering all the illicit children being born from young girls these days i believe investing in either hog futures or condoms would be wise.

I'm just saying.
 
1. Pay off my debt
2. Pay off or help pay off debt of nuclear family
3. Upgrade the house a little
4. Buy a nice car
5. Invest
 
let's assume that it's invested in such a way that it will allow me to live somewhat comfortably and retire on it.

after splurging some of it on myself and my family (I think I'd pay off my parents house, pay for whatever renovations they wanted, give my sister and brother-in-law money for a down-payment, setup a college fund for my future nephew, and take a nice long vacation by myself), I think I'd go to grad school and become a professor at some small southern school out in the mountains.

cheap hookers and really expensive booze...

Probably buy a winter and summer home, get a car, pay off the mortgage on my mom's and sister's house, start a college fund for my niece and nephew, put about 7 million in a safe annuity and live off the interest.
