Assuming that it were possible...

...if you could only have nightmares or not dream at all, which would you choose?

What if you were to have nightmares on a sparadic bassis and not consistently? Would you still prefer not to dream at all?

<---enjoys a good thriller now and then😱

I can't even do that. My girlfriend talks to me about her dreams all the time and I can't respond with anything because the moment I wake up they are gone. 🙁

nightmares are cool. I just hate dreams where you fall and your body lurches, as if you actually fell, even though you didn't. Hate those, I always wake up. Sometimes, they feel really cool though!

I used to remember my dreams/nightmares every night.

Now i haven't been able to for years...but i prefer it that way.

I don't like dreams/nightmares honestly...they'd have me thinking about them all day, since they'd always be so f*cked up.

Depends on your defenetion of nightmare I guess. Some people seem to consider a nightmare a dream where you die, and almost every one of my dreams if like that. Others consider it when you are simply afraid. I'd choose nightmares over nothing simply because they're so common, although it'd probably be cheating since I don't really have them anymore. For example, my #1 fear used to be that Chucky (from Child's Play) would look at me and that I'd get paralyzed in fear. Just last night I had the same type of dream, only this time instead of getting paralyzed I slowed time and shot him with a shotgun.

A couple of years ago I had a dream that my wife had an affair, seemed as real as it could be. I remember waking up so pissed off at her that I gave her a good bitching out. She was a bit freaked but understanding. Even though I knew it was a dream, I was still about half pissed at her for a couple more days. A strange experience indeed.

After posting in this thread, the last two nights i have remembered my dreams for the first time in over a year :Q

Creepy...
